SMC-CC October invite Join us for the October meeting of Social Media Club Corpus Christi. Social Media Club is a non-profit, community-driven organization focused on media literacy. We believe in sharing what you know. You don't have to be a social media expert to attend - anyone & everyone interested in social media is welcome!

The topic for October is "Working Without Walls: Telecommuting, Remote Working & Coworking":

Sure, we've all heard of the mythical beast of an employee who works from their home in their underwear... er, pajamas, but what does telecommuting and remote working really look like? With so many solopreneurs, freelancers, and contractors springing up, it was perhaps inevitable that coworking (sharing a workspace with unrelated professionals) would fill the gap left by coffee shops and home offices.

Join us for a talk with Todd O'Neill from C4 Workspace in San Antonio and Justin Levy from WorkShifting.com to discuss the good, the bad and the ugly of working without walls.

It's the last meeting of the year! We're not going away, but we know how busy the holidays can get... stay tuned for information about a holiday social!

We'll be at Aria Sky Lounge & Terrace in downtown Corpus Christi on Tuesday, October 20th from 6pm to 9pm. Join us for drinks at 6, followed by the meeting and mingle time.
